We offer a range of holistic and integrative therapies, including individual therapy, therapy groups, retreats, breathwork, Reiki, and consultation services. Our approach combines Indigenous wisdom with evidence-based practices like EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness.
All of our sessions can be completed online or in-person.
No, our services are open to everyone. While our practices are rooted in Indigenous traditions, we believe all human beings are connected, and we welcome anyone seeking healing and balance.
Whether you're joining us in person or online, we want your first session to be a calm and welcoming experience.
-
In-Person: When you arrive at our building, you'll make your way up a flight of stairs and have a seat in one of the chairs outside my door. I encourage you to stay off your phone, take some time to reflect, journal, or simply quiet your mind before the session begins. When I’m ready, I’ll come out to greet you.
-
Online: If you're joining us online, you'll receive a link via email or text (depending on your preference). Once I’m ready to start the session, I will activate the link for you to join. I recommend bringing water to each session, and if you're joining online, I suggest having tissues nearby as well.
-
In both cases, your first session will be about getting to know each other, discussing your goals, and setting a path forward for your healing journey.

Yes, we do accept insurance; however, not all services may be covered. During your initial sessions, you and your provider will work together to create a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals. While your provider may recommend certain therapies or services, you will always have the final choice in deciding which treatments you pursue. If any of the recommended treatments are not covered by insurance, we will clearly explain the options and costs involved so you can make an informed decision.
We work with most major insurances. We can offer a courtesy benefit check, but we always encourage you to reach out to your insurance directly to verify and quotes or coverages as we can not guarantee coverage.

Western therapy focuses primarily on talking through issues and using evidence-based practices like CBT or EMDR to address mental health concerns. Indigenous healing practices, on the other hand, emphasize balance and connection between mind, body, spirit, and nature. These practices often include ceremonies, breathwork, and other holistic approaches rooted in Indigenous traditions.
One key difference is that insurance will often cover Western therapeutic approaches but may not cover holistic Indigenous healing services. We always work with you to create a personalized treatment plan and will be transparent about what services are covered by your insurance.
Breathwork involves guided breathing techniques to help release emotional blockages and connect with a deeper sense of self. Reiki is an energy healing practice where the practitioner uses light touch to promote balance and healing. Both can be integrated into therapy to enhance your healing journey.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a specialized therapy that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. It works by using guided eye movements to help the brain reprocess painful memories, reducing their emotional impact and helping clients find relief from symptoms of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and other emotional distress.
To learn more about EMDR, you can visit www.emdria.org, a resource dedicated to providing information about this powerful therapy.
Yes, we do! Your provider may recommend group therapy, intensives, or retreats as part of your treatment plan to enhance your healing journey. These options offer supportive, immersive experiences that allow for deeper connection and personal growth alongside others on similar paths.
Our services are designed to meet the needs of individuals seeking holistic and culturally attuned care. If you resonate with our approach, we encourage you to submit the contact form on our website, and one of our providers will reach out to discuss your specific needs. We also believe in vibes—you can usually tell within the first couple of minutes whether you'll feel at home with us. We'll help you determine if we're the right fit for your healing journey.
Yes, we offer consultations for businesses, organizations, and other professionals who are looking to incorporate Indigenous healing approaches into their work, as well as those seeking to learn culturally attuned therapy methods. Additionally, all of our providers are Qualified Expert Witnesses for the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), offering their expertise in cases involving Indigenous children and families.
We are often asked to speak and present regionally and nationally. Our speakers fee is $750 per 60 minute session plus travel, lodging, and expenses.
Our therapists are extensively trained in both Western therapy modalities and Indigenous healing practices. Many of our team members hold advanced degrees and certifications, along with specialized training in trauma, cultural competence, and holistic healing.
We incorporate Indigenous practices such as the Medicine Wheel, smudging, nature connection, and ceremonial healing into our sessions. These practices connect clients with their intuition, ancestors, and the natural world, creating deeper levels of healing. We also approach mental illness as an experience and messenger, rather than focusing solely on Western labels. We work to release the names and diagnoses that may limit us, treating the energy behind these experiences instead.
There is much more at work than what we can see with our eyes. Just as we use a cell phone without seeing the signal it sends to a tower, we know that the unseen is powerful and real. At NATIVation, we help clients walk in the unseen, trusting the energy and guidance that may not always be visible, but is deeply impactful on their healing journey. Dreams are also important to us, as they often carry meaningful messages for personal growth and transformation.
Absolutely. Our Indigenous healing practices are meant for all people, as they focus on universal concepts of balance, connection, and healing. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are seeking a deeper sense of wellness and purpose.
Therapy itself is a ceremony. Life is a ceremony. At NATIVation, we approach therapy with the same respect and mindfulness that we bring to traditional healing ceremonies. When we view therapy as a ceremony, we honor each experience as sacred, allowing space for deeper connection, healing, and transformation. Whether it's a structured session or a traditional healing ritual, we focus on being present and intentional, understanding that every step of the journey holds meaning. In both, we strive to reconnect you with your inner wisdom, the energy of your experiences, and the guidance of the unseen.
Yes, we offer specialized training and workshops for mental health professionals and others interested in integrating holistic and Indigenous healing approaches into their work. These programs provide valuable tools and insights to help professionals incorporate these practices. Additionally, we offer training and services for those interested in becoming ICWA Qualified Expert Witnesses, supporting the Indian Child Welfare Act in practice.
You can schedule a session directly through our Sessions Health online booking portal. Since we do not have a dedicated admin team, this is the quickest and easiest way to secure an appointment. If you prefer to leave a message on our voicemail, please note that it may take up to 72 hours for a return call, as our providers are often with clients throughout the day and can only return calls when time allows. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
